Cozy Fall Soups

Yes, soups are cozy. But what I love most about soup season, is the act of making them. Time seems to speed up during fall, and life gets so busy. Making soup has become a simple way for me to slow down a bit, unwind, take a few moments for myself, and feel grounded. I hope you find this too.

Cabbage Soup Recipes!

If you would have told me 20 years ago, that I would like cabbage soup, I would have laughed. Funny how we change, or how life changes us. Cabbage soup has become a revelation.

Hearty Chili!

Chili is one of those one-pot meals that feels so nourishing, comforting and satiating. Full of protein I find it really curbs hunger cravings.

Brothy Soups

To me, there is nothing more soul-warming than a bowl of Brothy Soup on cold winter nights- especially when feeling under the weather. So very healing! Not only are these broth-based soups comforting and nourishing, they are also very healing, filling and hydrating to the body. We have a huge selection on the blog- because I LOVE them so much!

Chicken Soup for Every Soul

My very first food memory is of eating my mom’s chicken soup. Sitting in the kitchen in my highchair, fingers in my soup bowl, making a happy mess, eating the chicken off the bone, unctuous broth running down my face. All felt right in the world.

Happy Carrot Soup!

What is it about carrot soup? It just sings to me. It’s a happy soup. Make a batch and share it with someone who could use a little more joy in their life. For extra karma credit, pack it up with a fresh loaf of homemade sourdough bread wrapped in a cute kitchen towel.

Vegan Soups!

We have many vegan and vegan-adaptble soups on the blog. I love having at least one on hand, at-the-ready, in the fridge, in case of hunger emergencies. 😉 A great way incorporate a diverse array of veggies and perfect for staving off snacking.
