This fresh carrot juice is loaded up with fresh turmeric root, ginger and apple- a healthy, lightly sweetened juice full of healing nutrients! 

Here’s my all-time favorite juice- Carrot juice with turmeric and ginger!  A fresh juice that harnesses the power of fresh turmeric root to soothe inflammation, aid in cleansing the body and fight illness. Packed with antioxidants, anti-inflammatory agents and healing compounds, this delicious golden root juice is a healing elixir for the whole body. Plus, it just tastes good!

Ingredients in Carrot Juice

You’ll need fresh organic carrots, fresh turmeric root (or use ground turmeric powder), fresh ginger, and either an organic apple or an orange to lightly sweeten.

Using organic ingredients is the healthiest option here!

How to make Carrot Juice (in a juicer)

  1. Wash the carrots , apple and any roots (ginger and turmeric). Slice the ginger into thin slices, leaving the peel on. Quarter the apple or peel the orange if using. Tumeric does not need to be peeled.
  2. Juice ingredients in a juice in the order listed. If using ground turmeric, add one teaspoon, taste and add more to taste.
  3. Pour into 1 or 2 glasses and serve!
  4. Carrot Juice is best served upon making but will keep up to 24 hours in the fridge.

How to make Carrot Juice (in a Blender)

  1. Wash the carrots, apple and any roots (ginger and turmeric). Slice the ginger into thin slices, leaving the peel on. Slice the carrots thinnly, slice the apple or peel the orange if using. Tumeric does not need to be peeled. Place all n a blender with 1 ½ cups water, adding more if needed to get the blender going. Blend until smooth-ish. You can let this sit in the blender for 30-60 minutes before straining if you like.
  2. Strain through a fine mesh strainer.
  3. Pour into 1 or 2 glasses and serve!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons sliced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon fresh turmeric root
  • 45 medium organic carrots
  • 1 apple- cored, quartered ( or sub one orange, peeled)

Instructions

Wash the carrots and roots.

Juice ingredients in the order listed.

Divide between 1-2  glasses and serve immediately!

Carrot Juice is best served upon making but will keep up to 24 hours in the fridge.


Notes

You can substitute golden beets for part of the carrots!

    1. You could make the juice then add ground turmeric to taste. It may be more bitter than the fresh root, so go light to start.:)
