Instructions

  1. Rinse the rice a few times, it is ok if it is not completely clear. Drain thoroughly with a colander. 
  2. Put water, salt, coconut oil in pot with the lid on (for faster boil and less evaporation) and bring to boil.
  3. Add rice, with the lid on, bring back up to a low simmer for 12 minutes.
  4. Turn the heat off. Do not remove the lid. Let sit for 10 minutes covered. Fluff and serve.

Notes

Rice will keep up to 5 days in the fridge or can be frozen.
