Description

A healing turmeric juice made with freshly juiced turmeric root, apple, orange, beet, ginger and carrots. Aka, Liquid Sunshine!


Ingredients

Scale
  1. 4 medium organic carrots ( 4 cups)
  2. 1 small golden beet (optional) 2- 3 inches in diameter scrubbed and cut in half
  3. 1 orange (peeled)
  4. 12 tablespoons sliced fresh turmeric root ( start conservatively) peels are OK
  5. 12 tablespoons fresh ginger
  6. 1 apple, cored and quartered

Instructions

  1. Juice all ingredients through a juicer.
  2. Serve immediately!

Notes

Remember to start conservatively with the turmeric, taste and add more if you like. Feel free to sub 1-2 teaspoons ground turmeric.
Makes 2  6-8  oz glasses of juice
