Ingredients
All-Purpose Dry Rub
- 1 tablespoon coarse salt
- 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
- 1 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika (or chili powder)
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves (or allspice)
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
Mix all ingredients in a small bowl. Store in an air-tight container.
Notes
For an excellent Beef Rub: Add 2 tablespoons ground coffee, increase salt by ½ tablespoon
