Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup turmeric root, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup ginger, peeled and thinnly sliced
  • 1 orange (peeled)
  • 1 lemon, cut in half
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup water, more as desired

Instructions

  1. Place turmeric, ginger and the orange into a blender. Add the water. Blend.
  2. Strain using a fine mesh strainer.
  3. Stir in the black pepper and a squeeze of lemon, adding more to taste.
  4. Feel free to dilute further if preferred, or serve it up strong.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the fridge.
